ISRAEL  OUTWARD

A plan for the Third Temple

While all Israelis are busy discussing the Har Homa controversy, three men from the U.S. are here to propose what they call "A Peaceful Solution" to the conflict between Jews and Arabs, which involves nothing less than an ambitious plan to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem, which they are convinced will bring true peace here.
The three men are Yisrayl and Shaul Hawkins--both from Texas, and David Hawkins from Wisconsin.  All three call themselves "Elders of the House of Yahweh," an organization they founded in 1982, which is based upon strict observance of all the laws of Noah.  They claim to have 10,000 members today.
They base their belief on a biblical prophecy by the Prophet Ezekiah whom they call Yechetzqyah, who prophesied that the Third Temple of Jerusalem will be rebuilt in our time.
To prove that Yechetzqyah's prophecies are reliable, they describe in a pamphlet published by their organization both in Hebrew and English, how this prophet told of the fall of the city of Tyre in 590 B.C.E.  The city, a wealthy Phoenician seaport in what is now Lebanon, was founded in 1500 B.C.E.  Tyre resisted the seiges by Assyrians and Babylonians and defied several armies, including that of Nebuchadnezzar, known as the King of Babylon under whose rule Haman planned to kill the Jews.  His plot was stopped by Queen Esther and published a pamphlet giving verbatim the prophecy as it appears in the Book of Prophets 26:1-26.
That is why the three "elders" of "The House of Yahweh" believe that Yechetzqyah's prophecy about the Temple being rebuilt in our time will also be fulfilled.  They believe that his prophecies were inspired by the Creator, for no human being could foretell events of the future so precisely.
Their beliefs got much encouragement from the March/April 1983 issue of the Biblical Archeology Review, which in its Volume IX, No. 2 carried an article by the well-known archeologist Dr. Asher S. Kaufman who wrote his conclusions about "Where the Ancient Temple of Jerusalem Stood," and that "the Foundation Stone for the Arc of the Covenant had been identified."  It has been proved that a straight line led directly form the Golden Gate (the Eastern Gate) to both the First and the Second Temple, which would indicate that it stood in the northwestern part of the Temple Mount Plateau, and not in the middle of it, where the Moslem Dome of the Rock now stands.   This means that, contrary to popular belief, the Dome of the Rock was not built on the site of the Temple, but south of it.  The Temple lay 100 meters northwest of the Dome of the Rock.
The foundation of the Arc of the Covenant where it rested in the Holy of Holies would, according to Kaufman be on the northern edge of for everything, including the foundations of the Vestibule, the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place.  The altar is measured.  The building on the west is measured.  The priests' kitchens are established as well as their rooms, the singers' chambers, all of the entrances and exits.   All that remains is to begin to excavate.
Yechetzqyah's prophecies also indicated that there would be a "public structure" standing on the Temple Mount today and the plans indicated in the prophecy do not call for its destruction.  On the contrary, it is predicted that a wall will be built separating that "public house" from the Temple areas.  The three elders say that this public structure must surely be the Dome of the Rock, which they have no intention to move.  On the contrary, they say that remaining there as a Moslem Holy Place right next to the Temple would be a "Perfect Peaceful Solution" to the Arab-Jewish conflict here.
All three elders are observant Jews and their leader Yisrayl Hawkins is a well-known author, whose latest book, Can We Avoid The Next Holocaust?, is now being translated into Hebrew.  Hawkins is the name parents adopted while fleeing Nazi Germany, but his real name is Ha-Cohen.  He comes often to Israel and has been here several times accompanied by engineers and architects who checked his plans to rebuild the Temple in our times, according to measurements provided in Yechetzqyah's prophecy.

Yesterday, while Interior Committee of the Knesset visited the Orient House and met with Faissal Husseini, Yisrayl Hawkins stood in front of a microphone at the Sokolov House in Tel Aviv, calling upon Netanyahu and Arafat to meet with him and give a green light to the rebuilding of the Temple.
"Now is the time," says Hawkins, an American author and historian, "now when there are talks about Jerusalem.  As long as the problem of Har Ha'bait is not solved to the satisfaction of the Arabs and the Jews, and if a solution isn't found--a world explosion will occur."
Hawkins, 62, a descendent of a Jewish family that fled to Europe when the Nazis came to rule, pulled out from his bag ready sketches and colored photos, declaring, "This is the third Temple."
In these photos, all seems very nice:  the altar, the servants' wing, the Holy of Holies.  Hawkins suggests to build the Temple about 100 meters northeast of the Dome of the Rock, on a vacant piece of land, without damaging the holy Islamic sites.   "The Arabs agree," says Hawkins.  No not the leaders, he made it clear repeatedly, the Arab people in the streets.
For years he has carried with him the dream.  Researching, running around, writing books, placing paid advertisements.  His family roots go back to the tribe of Levi, the servants of the "The Prophet Yechetzqyah," says Hawkins, "saw in a vision from 585 BCE the Temple that will be built.  He saw there a public structure   standing south of the Temple.  This structure is none other that the Muslims' Dome of the Rock, that is still standing today.  That is why I say it is not necessary to fight the Arabs on this, and nothing has to be destroyed.  Yahweh is showing us that we don't have to fight over Har Ha'bait.  We can and must build the Temple on a vacant piece of land.   The Dome of the Rock will stay at its place and we will erect a wall that will divide and separate between the worshipers from the two religions."
Hawkins puts his hands in his pockets and says we have to be quick, since the next Holocaust is just around the corner.  For a second there, he sounds like an eccentric who landed from another planet, for a moment his words sound serious and founded.  He brought with him the engineer, David Mrotek, who put a yarmulke on his head and described the Temple.
Mrotek is one of the three American engineers who visited, together with Hawkins, in Har Ha'bait and discovered, according to what they say, that the measurements in the site fit exactly to those that appear in Yechetzqyah's vision.
On a blue tablecloth at the journalists' house, plans were spread out alongside brochures and colored photos of the Temple model.  Occasionally it seemed as if the presentation was an exhibition event funded by a construction company that came to launch their new project.  The engineer Mrotek showed air photos of Har Ha'bait, and it all looks so simple and clear.
"Here," he said, "will be the aids quarter and from here is the entrance and here the lamp will stand, and from here the offerings will be brought in."  With wonders of technology, the new Temple was planted north of the Dome of the Rock.  The picture that came out looked like a huge complex, filled with windows like a shopping mall and a hotel, with its white gleaming color and soft strait lines.
"It is all in the Bible," says Hawkins, and he made sure that no one will be able to steal his idea.  "I registered the model as a patent, here in Israel and in the USA," he said  yesterday.  And who will finance it?   "A simple matter," laughed Hawkins.  "In the United States there are many Jews who are ready to give billions of dollars."
And do you know that you will have to face problems here with the religious people and orthodox? he was asked.  "Okay, Okay," said the historian, "we'll get over that too.  We shall teach, explain, this is a process that begins now."
Hawkins and his companions will be here several days.  They want to meet with Arafat and Netanyahu and present them with the plan.  "This will be the best way to live in peace," Hawkins will tell the Prime Minister.  "This will be the greatest operation in modern history, in order to implement real peace between Israel and Arab countries.  This is a beginning of a co-existence in peace."

An Historian Suggests To Build The Temple

The Jewish-American Historian, Yisrayl Hawkins, Exposed Yesterday His Plan To "Build The Temple In Peaceful Ways

And With The Acceptance Of The Arabs."

By Toli Piekersh / Itim Agency

At a press conference in Sokolov House in Tel Aviv, Hawkins elaborated on his plan, founded on Yechetzqyah's (Ezekiel's) prophecy as to the location and the measurement of the Temple "like was never seen before."  Hawkins claims that "The Dome of the Rock" is not standing on the spot where the Temple was and the original location of the Temple is, according to him, about 100 meters northeast of the Dome of the Rock.  "This fact may  enable rebuilding the Temple next to the Dome of the Rock, on a vacant piece of land, in peaceful ways with the Arabs and their acceptance, by conducting negotiations."
Hawkins believes that Yechetzqyah's (Ezekiel's) prophecy could be realized in this generation.  This, according to him, will establish true peace between the Arabs and the Jews and the entire world, it will lead to a peaceful solution to rebuilding the Temple, to the ending of the Arab-Jewish conflict in Jerusalem, as well as establishing real peace between the three religions--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
Hawkins and three engineers from the USA have worked on the project since 1988 and in 3,000 hours built a model of the Temple.
According to the engineers, during several visits to Israel, they checked and verified on the site, the plan and the exact measurements, as were envisioned by the Prophet Yechetzqyah (Ezekiel) 2,600 years ago.  Hawkins intends to talk about his plan with leaders of the Arab world and with Israeli leaders.

CAN WE AVOID
THE NEXT HOLOCAUST?

The American Author, Yisrayl Hawkins, Predicts A Second Holocaust
Of The World Toward The Year 6,000 Of The Jewish Count

Yisrayl Hawkins, an American author and historian, predicts a second Holocaust to the world and to Jewish people, in about four years, if certain steps are not taken immediately to prevent it.
In his book, Can We Avoid The Next Holocaust?, Hawkins reviews the 6,000 year history of the Jewish and other peoples that caused assimilation and brought great sufferings to the people of Israel for generations, up to the Nazi Holocaust in the Second World War.
Hawkins reviews in the book the experiences of the Jews from the time of the forefathers exodus and the endowment of the Bible, the destruction of the first and second Temple, the world powers that tried to exterminate the Hebrew people, until these days and he is doing so by bringing quotations from the Bible.
He claims that the suffering and the assimilation of the Jews and the Hebrews is a result of not preserving the 613 Laws of the Bible, not observing the Sabbath, etc.  He warns us of the second Holocaust and says "we could avoid the next Holocaust of the Hebrew people, the people of Israel and the whole world, if we will observe 'Yahweh's Torah.'"
Hawkins brings facts to collaborate his theory about Israel's enemies that aspire to exterminate the Jewish people and the state of Israel.  As well, he brings facts to the assumption that the next world Holocaust, which will include nuclear weapons, may come from the direction of "Pakistan vs. India or an  Islamic country vs. Israel, or Ukraine vs. Russia."  He also reviews the awakening of anti-Semitism in European countries and in America and quotes
Jim Wikstrom--a leader of anti-Semitic  groups in the USA--who acts to bring down the government and clearly says:  "When it happens, we won't leave behind even one Jew in this country."  Hawkins adds and says:  "The leaders put their faith in atomic weapons, which is a false faith.  Faith in "Yahweh" is the only faith that will save us from the next Holocaust."
Hawkins claims that:  "the entire human race could be eliminated if we won't learn the true values and be enlightened by them."  He proposes the question:  "Is this a coincidence or a warning that the same unstable conditions and situations that surround the world society today, are the same as they were 50 years ago, when an entire nation was almost eliminated by the Nazis?"

The Plan to Build the Temple in Ways of Peace and in Acceptance with the Arabs

Most of the world leaders usually "speak about peace" while at the same time actually they are "making preparation for war", but the real danger to the world exists in the Mediterranean region-- a region where interests, which are vital to the powerful nations and to the world, exist.  The Arab-Israeli conflict, that is tried to be solved in peaceful solutions, may cause a world explosion and a fatal war, as long as the problem of Mount-Temple is not solved to the satisfaction of the Arabs and Jews alike.  This was related by the Jewish-American author and historian, Israyl Hawkins, at a press conference.

Israyl Hawkins said at the press conference that "all it takes is for one fanatic, from either side" to set up the fire of war, especially in light of all the permanent tension which exists between Arabs and Jews, particularly on the issues of Jerusalem and Mount-Temple.  He adds and says:  "this problem could be solved in ways of peace and with the acceptance of all Arab nations and world nations-- an acceptance that has to be implemented in our generation and not later than the beginning of the 3rd Millennium.   According to Hawkins, the Dome of the Rock was not built on the site where the Temple was built and the original location of the Temple is about 100 meters North-East from the Dome of the Rock.  This fact may enable the rebuilding of the Temple next to the Dome of the Rock, on a vacant piece of land, by ways of peace and the acceptance of the Arabs, by conducting negotiations that may last several years and by presenting data and facts that will convince them that Muslims and Jews can pray side by side in private, without interrupting each other.

Thus, according to Hawkins, will end the tension that exists between the two peoples in peaceful ways, as well it will eliminate the danger of war and will enable the three religions to worship their Holy Laws, each to his own faith, and it will bring peace to the world and Israel be light to the gentiles.

The Jewish-American historian finds collaboration to his theory in Yechetzqyah, 40:2: "In the VISION OF YAHWEH, He brought me into the land of Israyl, and set me upon the GREATLY EXALTED MOUNTAIN; and ON IT, like a BUILDING OF A CITY on the south.", a prophecy from the year 585 BCE.  Yechetzqyah did not speak about the "City" Jerusalem of his days, or ours, according to Hawkins.   "The people in those days knew about Jerusalem, and there was no need to tell them about "like a building of a city on the south of it."  This verse speaks about a single structure that looked odd to Yechetzqyah, and rightfully so-- because he never saw such a structure before.  But in his vision Yechetzqyah saw-- a public structure standing south of the Temple.  The structure he saw was none other than the Muslims' Dome of the Rock, that is still standing.  The Dome of the Rock will go on standing in its place with a dividing wall which will separate it from the Temple which will be erected.

This is in fact the peaceful solution to rebuilding the Temple in our generation, a plan that could be executed.  And there is also a wall, sort of partition, to worship side by side, as is written in Yechetzqyah chapter 40:5 "And behold, there was an adjoining SEPARATION; DIVIDING STRUCTURE, AROUND A TEMPLE...".  Hawkins adds and says:  "never in history the Temple existed without an outer court..."  yet there never was, next to the Temple, on Mount-Temple, a Muslim structure.  God is showing us that there is no need to interrupt the Arabs, there is no need to fight over Mount-Temple, but we can and must build the Temple on the vacant piece of land, where it stood in the past, and we have to erect a wall that will divide and separate between the worshipers from the two religions".

The most conclusive proof in the Scriptures, that indeed Yechetzqyah stood where the Mount-Temple is nowadays, according to Hawkins, is in the fact that the outer court as was in the earlier Temple-- will not be built in its entirety when the Temple of Yechetzqyah will be built, and the proof is in Yechetzqyah chapter 40:5 "So he measured the separation's width to the structure, one reed; about 10 1/2 feet, and the height; rise, one reed."

Yechetzqyah's prophecy is explained and acknowledged in the article written by Dr. Asher S. Kaufman in Biblical Archeology Review, Vol. IX. No. 2, pages 40-58, dated March-April 1983, that shows us that the First and Second Temples were situated exactly in one direct line with the Golden Gate-- the Eastern gate.  Hawkins adds and says that: "the measurements given by Yechetzqyah were not put to use in neither one of the Temples that were built in the past and from here we can conclude that those measurements were written for our generation to be used".

Israyl Hawkins also said that in recent years he visited Israel several times together with 3 engineers from the US-- David Heimerman, David Mrotek and Jay Martin-- who have checked and verified the plan and the actual measurements, on the site, as was seen in Yechetzqyah's vision for the rebuilding of the Temple in our days.  They found that the measurements fit exactly the vacant area-- North to the Dome of the Rock on Mount-Temple.

As we know, the prophet Yechetzqyah envisioned the destruction of Tyre (Zor) in the year 590 BCE, a city that could be compared then, with its ports, to New York of today.   And indeed the city of Tyre fell down in the year 332 BCE, to the hands of Alexander the Great, after a siege that lasted for 7 months.  This is another proof to the truthfulness in the visions of the prophet Yechetzqyah.

Yechezqyah's prophecy can be realized in this generation, according to Hawkins, by approaching all leaders of the world and by conducting long explanatory actions among the Arab nations and by ways of peace.  In fact, this might be the greatest operation that will be done in the modern history for achieving and implementing real peace between Israel, the Arabs and the entire world.  Hawkins calls upon all leaders of the region including Benjamin Netanyahu, Yasser Arafat, Husnei Mubarac, King Hussein and the leaders of the great nation to take action in order to realize and implement Yechetzqyah's vision for real peace between the three religions-- Christianity, Judaism and Islam.   Hawkins also puts himself and his plans to the availability of the Israeli government in order to implement the vision in peaceful ways.

The American engineer, David Mrotek, presented at the press conference in Tel Aviv the plans that according to them the First and Second Temples were built.  After that he presented the plan to rebuild the Temple in our time, as was envisioned by the prophet Yechetzqyah 2,600 years ago.  He mentioned that according to exact measurements that were conducted by him and by two other American engineers, the plans fit exactly the land condition of Mount-Temple today.  According to Mrotek, there is not any other true way to achieve real peace between Jews and Arabs that accedes in its reliability the Arabs consent to build the Temple and the Jews willingness that it will be built next to the Dome of the Rock Mosque.  The implementation of all the above will eliminate the existing suspicion between the two nations and will lead to a real cooperation and real peace in the world.
