Excel.Net, Inc. June 14, 2001
			      Newsletter #28
			      ==============

This newsletter contains information on the following topics:

1. New Web Site
2. Payments
3. E-Commerce
4. Password Changes
5. IE 5.5 Service Pack 1
6. Voice Mail
7. Hoaxes/Viruses

1. NEW WEB SITE - We have been developing a new web site with a
number of additional features. We are planning to put this new
site live very soon and wanted to let our customers preview it.
The new site will include weather for your area, opinion polls,
recent news and a number of other new features. The new site can
be seen at:

	http://test.excel.net/

If you want to drop us an e-mail and let us know what you think
that would be great. Please send any comments to
webmaster@excel.net.

2. PAYMENTS - Excel.Net has worked out agreements with a number of
sites to allow new customers to signup locally. We would ask that
you do NOT use these sites for payment locations because that is not
really what they are meant for. If you would like to pay by credit
card or automatic withdrawal e-mail admin@excel.net and we can get
that setup. If you want to pay by cash/check you can mail it to our
offices or drop it off during office hours. The address for mailing
payments is:

		Excel.Net, Inc.
		729 Pennsylvania Avenue
		Sheboygan, WI 53081

3. E-COMMERCE - It seems like everybody is buying stuff over the
Internet these days. This is a trend that we do not see
declining, but more becoming the way things are done. A lot of
you have things to sell and may be thinking you want to get a
storefront online as well. If you have looked into this you
probably have been startled by the complexity and the cost of
purchasing the needed software. Now, Excel.Net offers a simple
solution to setting up an e-commerce site. It handles the
catalog, shopping cart, order process and can be setup to process
credit cards real time! For additional details on this take a
look at:

	http://shop.excel.net/

4. PASSWORD CHANGES - We receive a number of requests from
customers to have their passwords changed. Based on this we have
developed a web site where you can change your passwords without
needing to call in. This can be found at:

	https://www.excel.net/Admin/Custtools/changepass.html

You will be required to have the current password before changing to
a new one. Also, if you have your password saved in your e-mail
program or dialup, make sure that you change it there as well to
avoid any problems.

5. IE 5.5 SERVICE PACK 1 - Those of you running Windows 95/98/ME
or Windows 2000 should consider upgrading to the latest version of
Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. This can be downloaded
from our site at:

	http://www.excel.net/tools.html

On our new site the page with the tools will be at:

        http://test.excel.net/links/index.php?links=tools

6. VOICE MAIL - While we strive to answer calls as they come in
there are times when all of the support representatives are
assisting other customers. If you have time you are more than
welcome to wait on the line and your call will be answered as soon
as somebody is available. If you choose not to wait please leave us
a voice mail with your name, number, a description of the question
and a good time to return your call. We answer all voice mails in a
prompt manner.

7. HOAXES/VIRUSES - There are a number of new viruses being
created all of the time. However, there are just as many hoaxes
being circulated as well. Below we have a number of sites that
list viruses and hoaxes:

	http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/
	http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/cs/nethoaxes/index.htm
	http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/library/howto/hthoax.htm

You can use these sites to see if the messages are true or to
check out how to fix a virus if you have been infected. We would
still recommend that you run a form of antivirus software on your
machine and make sure to update it frequently.

Thank you for taking the time to look this over. If you
have any comments or suggestions for future newsletters please
feel free to let us know by e-mailing techsupport@excel.net. We
appreciate your business and hope that your Internet experience is
enjoyable.
